We offer a wide range of services for most makes and models of Asian and European cycles and scooters, whether under warranty or not. Our services include warranty term service, restoration, engine rebuilds, race prep, and crash repair(though not always in that order!). It will not void your warranty to have your vehicle serviced by Combustion Cycles, no matter what brand it is or what year it is!!!!
We are also an Official NC Safety Inspection Station (motorcycles & trailers only) with 2 inspectors on staff! NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! Safety inspections are required PRIOR to registering a vehicle with NCDMV.

Tire change labor:
Sportbikes/Cruisers (most road-going bikes):
wheels off of bike $35
wheels on, front $50
wheels on, rear $65
MX/Dual-Sport/Off-road bikes:
wheels off of bike $30
wheels on $40
Buy your tires from us & we will discount installation labor by $10 per wheel!
All types of tire change labor include:
o Removal & legal disposal of old tire
o Inspection of wheel bearings
o Inspection of valve stem (tubeless tire) or inspection of tube & rim strip (tube-type tire)
o Installation of new tire
o Computer spin-balancing of complete wheel assembly
On-bike tire changes also include:
o Inspection of brakes (for the wheel removed)
o Chain adjustment/alignment & lubrication
o Axle lubricated & torqued to proper specification
o Brief test ride to verify proper installation & to begin the tire scrub-in process
We do not charge extra for wheel weights!
* It is assumed that all fasteners are in fully functional condition (no rust, rounded-off edges, properly torque/lubricated & able to be removed with standard air/impact tools) - if that is not the case, charges may be higher
* If exhaust removal is required to access rear axle, charges may be slightly higher & exhaust gasket may need to be replaced
Due to liability & safety issues, we do NOT patch/plug ANY tires or install used tires on any vehicle.

Oil change with filter(MOST bikes) $49.95 oil/filter upgrades avail for additional cost
Fork Seals, conventional forks $180 plus parts
Fork Seals, inverted/cartridge forks $210 plus parts
Carb cleaning, most 4 cyl. bikes $290 plus parts
Remove rust & coat gas tank (properly) $200 including chemicals
Crash Repairs: Call us from the scene of the accident! Do you really want a wrecker driver manhandling your bike? We tow from the accident scene and handle all the insurance paperwork for you. Call in your claim then call us to pick up the bike!
Towing: We make a regular tow run to the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area weekly for $45 round trip. Towing from other locations is available as needed.
Winterization and Storage: We are able to provide you with climate-controlled, secure storage during wintertime! We prep your bike for storage(remove battery, fuel, etc), store it, then have it ready for springtime with no surprises!
Also, our lobby has coffee, magazines and free wi-fi in case you need to get some work done while you are here for walk-in service!
Some examples of our service department's in-house capabilities include: Carburetor jetting and fuel injection tuning, transmissions, suspension revalving/optimization, ultrasonic carburetor and parts cleaning, cylinder boring and sleeving, 3 angle valve jobs, porting/polishing, wheel building/truing, TIG/MIG welding of aluminum/steel/stainless, lathe work and custom parts modification. We also have numerous vendors for specialty operations like chrome/nickel/copper plating, cylinder plating, powdercoating, painting, wheel repair, & pretty much anything you can imagine. If there is a motorcycle/scooter need, we can meet that need in house or through our established business partners.
