Combustion Cycles – Durham, NC
Position is filled as of 3/1/15, qualified candidates are welcome to submit a resume for future openings! —Combustion Cycles is seeking a qualified or fast to learn customer service associate for our growing motorcycle and scooter dealership in Durham, NC. We have an immediate need to fill this position and want only the best! Ability to learn, great attitude, problem solving skills, neat appearance, ability to work independently, and strong work ethic is REQUIRED! Basic motorcycle knowledge, Interest in motorcycle riding and maintenance, and bilingual a plus.
Job Functions to include (but not limited to)
-Performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to assist management including but not limited to monitoring and maintaining daily office activities and schedules, operating office machines and equipment, and facilitating communications by screening telephone calls, checking and routing mail, and drafting letters, spread sheets, and reports.
-Cashier responsibilities including but not limited to totaling-up bills, receiving money, making change, completing credit card transactions, issuing receipts, routing orders to correct department, and handling returned and exchanged merchandise.
-Daily use of a multi-line telephone system, cash register, adding machine, copy machine, fax machine, printers, and computers including dealer management and word processing software.
-Retail sales and customer support including but not limited to being responsible for describing a product’s features, demonstrating its use, showing various models and colors available, providing pricing for units including accessories, providing trade valuations, maintaining accurate and up to date lists for sales personnel stating current sales and finance promotions, keeping lists of new and used inventory and reconciling monthly, and doing continuing education as recommended by manufacturers pertaining to customer service and product knowledge.
-Parts inventory control responsibilities including but not limited to parts lookup, receiving merchandise into inventory control system, invoicing merchandise to customers, and maintaining accurate inventory through annual physical inventory checks.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of people as well as interpret customer needs and clearly communicate that in written and verbal form. Bilingual is a huge plus!
-Ability to perform job functions well in a fast paced, high volume environment effectively, efficiently, and without creating a high anxiety environment (we sell fun so we need to provide a fun environment!)
-STRONG Attention to detail-requires detailed notes regarding technician and customer interactions
-Neat and organized – responsible for maintaining filing in high visibility location.
-Able to provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to including assisting with phone calls and walk-in customer support.

Metric Technician Needed

Combustion Cycles In Durham, NC has experienced rapid growth and is looking for a full time Technician to add to our staff. We are a small company and take pride in the fact that most all of our employees ride!
Durham is on the rise as both a place to live and to work. A very high quality of life is easily affordable in our area. We are conveniently located on a major artery within the RTP area and are therefore a quick commute. We have a modern, well supplied, heated service department with specialty tools, 5 quality K&L lifts, Hoffmann tire equipment, exhaust system, dynomometer, and an in house machine shop (milling machine, lathe, boring bar, valve seat cutters, MIG/TIG welding machines and more). We stock a large amount of service parts and hardware to keep techs moving fast and earning money. We have all the work we can handle, and then some.

We are a racetech direct dealer and do suspension modifications in house, and refill Nitrogen. The majority of job functions will be routine service, repairs, tuning and upgrades on Metric motorcycles and scooters. We do not work on Chinese scooters, only the Taiwanese scooter brands we sell and other major name brands. Minor functions will include building custom motorcycles for sale and customizing customers bikes. Painting skills are not required. An eye for detail and a quality work ethic IS required.
