Yes, it came to us from the original owner! 1974-issued title in hand! In the car world, this would be a mild "resto-mod" - when the bike arrived, it looked like it had been sitting since the late 70s! We proceeded to go through the bike bit by bit, stripping it to the bare frame and started from there, painting, replacing, updating here and there. The bike is like a blend of a vintage cafe racer and a modern streetfighter - a cafe-fighter, if you will. Simple, clean lines & no unnecessary frills start with the new high-performance yet old-school look Continental TKV tires and work up the bike from there: blasted & painted rims laced with new stainless steel nipples & spokes to blasted & painted hubs, rebuilt brakes with custom braided stainless lines, new short shocks, rebuilt, lowered, & polished forks, blasted & painted frame as well as engine cases, blacked out 4 into 2 exhaust, pod filters on the freshly rebuilt carbs fed by the new fuel lines from the acid-etched and coated fuel tank, custom side cover & painted oil tank topped by a custom seat, LED Sparto-style chrome taillight, flat black fenders, clean handlebar with custom controls there are too many custom touches to be detailed here!
